Questionable

romantic love....

is it a trick of mother nature so we humans won't become extinct...?
if it is, its obviously a pretty good one, as it seems to work quite well.
and we all seem to fall for it. over and over again...

question

"unquestionable"

i feel that way
no doubt
with my three sons
and the little girl
who decided to bail out
at last minute

and with my siblings
no doubt
with my mother

i feel that way
with my dog

and some few
people
whose lives are intertwined
with my own
no doubt

"unquestionable"
timeless doubtless
love

but what about
the idea commonly referred to
by us as
"romantic"  ("having ideas, feelings, etc., remote from experience and
                    real life." - from the advanced learner's dictionary of current english)
love

unquestionable doubtless timeless?

or does love then become
riddled punctured
by questions
rendered meaning
less

doubt full
confined
by dimensions of
time restricted
to the now
